Should be on one’s bucket list This was an amazing experience and although I do not have a “bucket list”, this would be on top of the list, if I had one it would be on top of the list. Expert guides with excellent boat handling with knowledge of very productive spots to fish. As promised, we did not go hungry with excellent lunches and dinners. Only cautionary note: Know your route for your return trip. GPS was somewhat unreliable in the remote area where we disembarked.

Rogue River in style and luxury! Trip of a lifetime! We did this trip in 2019 and then again in 2021. I didn’t believe we could have a better time the second time around but we did. Craig and Tina and the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing people and provide such an incredible experience that is more than five stars all the way around. Definitely recommend staying two nights at Paradise Lodge. Thanks for everything and we will be back soon!!

Eat, Paddle, Love This is the 3rd family trip I've taken with Rogue River Outfitters and it was by far, the best. Whether you're looking to disconnect from fast paced living, wanting a unique experience with friends / loved ones, or are just looking for an unforgettable nature-oriented experience, RRO is the company you should go with. They're a second generation family-owned business, who has successfully operated since 1966 off word of mouth referrals. You get a personalized experience from the moment you connect with Tina on booking. Craig, Tina, Joey, and their team are so knowledgeable about all aspects of the River, including native planet and animal species, river lore and history, as well as all around trivia facts. Speaking of fun facts! Craig rowed his first boat down the Rogue at the age of 12. CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE? Tina catered to my special dietary needs, and gently walked me through the many Covid protocol related questions I had. In her own words "Covid has been great because I'm already OCD clean and this just gave me an excuse to push my ways onto the crew" Equipment (including sleeping bags, life vests, boats, dry bags etc) were all exceptionally clean, smelled great, and kept our belongings safe and dry. We did the 1 night camp x 1 night lodge trip. One of the very best parts of this trip is the food! GOOD GOD, THE FOOD. Family mustard, jam, cookie, recipes are abundant (they won't give you the recipes, I've already tried) and delicious. Because of the fire ban, they weren't able to cook over the open fire as they have been able to on previous trips (those dutch oven biscuits live on in my dreams). That said, they didn't miss a beat! Lunch was great! all kinds of fruit, veggie, and pasta salads (and dessert with every meal!) and delicious tri-tip and fresh roasted turkey sandwiches kept us energized for the days on the river. Paradise Lodge is a VERY special place. There was a baby deer and her mama right next to our room(s) when we arrived. The food was great this time around and we appreciated the shower on day 2 of the rafting trip. The staff is friendly and the views are beautiful. I always like to take a little nap on the hammock. We've never had enough people in our group to fill the entire trip. This trip, we were paired with a young family of 4. We absolutely loved sharing this experience with them. Experiencing this trip through the lens of children really does make it even more special. We are so grateful for Rogue River Outfitters and all that they've done in terms of creating lasting memories for our family. We will certainly be back!

We’ll be back! It’s almost impossible to convey how wonderfully every detail was attended to on our 3-day rafting trip! From the itinerary to the packing lists to the food, Craig and Tina have thought of everything possible to make your trip stress-free and memorable. My husband has fished several times with RRO on the rogue and deschutes and I’m so glad we all finally got to experience the beauty of the Wild and Scenic with such capable and fun guides.

Certainly one of the best ways to experience 3 days with friends and family We had been meaning to book this trip for years and regret that it took so long to make it happen. There were 16 of us - long-time friends of 30+ years. Everything was so amazing. Craig and his team are complete professionals. It was such an exciting adventure for all of us! You can experience everything from the thrill of manning an inflatable kayak...or you could cruise on one of the larger rafts for a gentler ride. The food was incredible, the views breathtaking, and the guides made us feel safe all the way through. We had lots of laughs and made some great memories. We'll be booking another trip for next year for sure!! We did the 3 day, 2 night, camp to lodge trip and we can't stop talking about how much fun we had. Lots of nature-black bears, ospreys, eagles...definitely some moments that brought tears to our eyes for the sheer enjoyment of it all. Thank you so much Craig and Tina!

3-day Guided Fishing Trip We took the 3-day guided fishing excursion, October 17-19. Everything was planned to perfection: food, guides, accommodations, food, fishing gear, food, boats (did I mention food?). The guides cooked for us the first night and the following morning. The Dutch oven rolls were amazing, apple crisp dessert was delicious, salad, asparagus, huge steaks...just perfect! Weather was great...no rain or wind. Rogue River area is absolutely beautiful. We loved our guides - Bama, Billy and Kyle. Thank you, Craig and team, for a wonderful adventure.

One of the best family adventure trips ever! This was our first overnight rafting trip as a family (children ages 11 and 13). We have traveled the world and been on many exciting adventures and this trip with RRO was unbelievable! So much beauty, excitement and pure enjoyment was had by everyone. Craig, Joey, Kyle and Harry were fantastic hosts and so great with the kids. The whole trip was beyond our expectations and we will certainly be back for more trips in the future.

A Perfect Three Days Absolute perfection from start to finish. This was our second trip with Rogue River Outfitters and won't be our last. It is an experience of a life time! Tina's planning and and accommodating our needs was above and beyond then getting on the river for three days with Craig, Joey, Harry and Kyle is well over five stars. The days are filled with adventure, excitement and constant beauty. The food is great and their professionalism is incredible.

5 stars is not enough!! 3 days, 2 nights with Craig, Joey, Kyle and Harry as our guides, amazing food and campsites, very comfortable. More importantly, they are Rogue River experts. They made it so safe, but knew how to aim the boats for a great wave if it was getting too hot (triple digit temps), they also helped adults and teens navigate rapids in sturdy rubber kayaks, showed us where the best rocks were for jumping into the river flow, and a gorgeous canyon swim on day two. They also do fishing trips, and I expect the fishing guests are as as happy as their rafting guests. Overnight lodges are also available if you don’t Like camping. Beautiful country worth protecting for generations to enjoy. Permitting system keeps the river accessible without over- burdening the landscape. An experience I’m sure my teens will never forget. Even saw a bear on shore as we floated by, along with bald eagles, turtles, deer, unforgettable!
