I am still in awe over this trip. Rogue River Outfitters provides the best of the best in river trips, everything is first class and Craig and Tina were wonderful to work with in planning our river trip. We camped out on the first night and stayed at Paradise Lodge on the second night. After a full day of white water rafting, playing in the river and enjoying the beautiful scenery we arrived at the camp spot and Craig's camp boatman had everything set up. Our tents were ready for us with cots and pads. It was wonderful with the rapids to lull us to sleep and netting on the tents where we could look out at the stars. The meals they prepare and the service they give are better than any 5-star restaurant or hotel from horderves to desert. I woke in the morning to a steaming cup of "camp" coffee brought to my tent. Another day of rafting and we pulled into the docks at Paradise lodge. Beautiful rooms with rustic flair and our belongings brought right to our door. The grounds are beautiful, the food yummy and the hot shower was awesome! I can't say enough about the trip and Rogue River Outfitters. They are the only company I would ever book with. Craig, Tina and their staff are amazing and truly make this a trip the whole family enjoys. Safe experienced guides make this trip fun and relaxing. The scenery is beautiful and RRO know the Rogue River area like their own backyard. The food was delicious. The packing list was exactly what we needed. RRO are prepared. Our group consisted of 3 families. Kids were all older teenagers. Everyone found their happy place, kayaking, rafting, floating. RRO helped us all have the best experience. We have been dreaming of doing a multi-day rafting trip on the glorious and wild Rogue for years. We consulted with several people who've done it before and Rogue River Outfitters was highly recommended, so we decided to go with them. Wow - RRO exceeded our expectations! From the moment we launched to the moment we pulled out, this trip was well planned and executed by friendly guides who were experts in river rafting, camp setup and cooking (delicious!), and finding the fun little extras to do along the way. Our river trip was exceptional! We were treated like royalty, and the service was 5 stars all the way! Our river guides, Greg and Joey, were knowledgable, pleasant, hard-working, and enthusiastic! You could tell that they love their jobs, and they want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience. What an amazing experience for our family. Our group did a 4 day float and ranged in age from 13 to 71 and every one of us had the best time! Such an extremely hardworking, professional group of guides. The food was beyond good. Thank you for talking us into trying everything including sleeping outside. I did a 3 day, 2 night drift boat trip on the Deschutes River with some college friends and we had an amazing experience. The guides, food, and camp experience were all top-notch and the guides know the river so well that they always put you in the best fishing spots. The fried chicken dinner is some of the best chicken I have had anywhere. It does not matter if you are new to fly fishing or an advanced fisherman as the guides will quickly assess the skills of the client and adjust how much hands-on support is necessary. The beauty of the lower Deschutes River is something that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime. I highly recommend a trip with RRO, whether on the Deschutes River or Rogue River and Craig runs a very professional outfit and ensures that his clients have a great experience.
