Fishing Trips Offered
Winter Steelhead
We’ll be fishing from a 17-foot McKenzie River drift boat. Our one-day adventures begin early in the morning and end in the mid-afternoon. Multi-day trips can also be arranged. All year long, our guests look forward to Winter Steelhead fishing. It’s something about the pull on your rod and tail-walking chrome that keeps our guests coming back year after year.
Trips are offered in during February and March. We take bookings for 2 guests only. If you need to customize this trip, reach out to Tina for more details.
Rogue Canyon Fishing
There are countless places to go fishing in our world. All else being equal, I feel the Rogue Wild and Scenic stacks up against any of them. This trip is for you if you enjoy catching fish, viewing wildlife, and experiencing whitewater from a drift boat. Enjoy a rich history, nights spent in lovely lodges, and delicious meals… all while taking in the breathtaking views of the river.
Trips are offered during September, October, and November.
Spring Chinook
On the Willamette or Columbia Rivers, this is a one-day journey. We fish from a River Wild power boat, which is 26 feet long and built for safety and comfort. Our travels begin early in the morning and last until mid-afternoon. Our goal is to have a good time while catching the Northwest’s crown gem, a Spring King. We can accommodate groups of up to 6 people.
Trips are offered during March, April, and May. We take bookings for 2 guests or book 4 guests and make the boat exclusive for your party.
Deschutes Trout Fly Fishing
We offer three and four-day fly fishing trips for native rainbow trout (Redsides). Two guests and one guide per boat fish from our McKenzie River drift boats. Our tours take you on a 35-mile float through Deschutes Canyon, where you’ll cast your fly at a rising rainbow. Guests can enjoy premium camping on the Deschutes River’s shores, as well as a delectable choice of meals. The Deschutes River features one of the first Stone Fly hatches in the Northwest, so plan your trip early to get a head start on summer fly fishing.
Trips are offered in during May, June, and July.
Grande Ronde Trout Fly Fishing
We provide 3- or 4-day rainbow trout fly fishing trips. We can accommodate two guests and one guide on each McKenzie River driftboat. The majority of fishing is done from a boat.
The Grand Ronde, located in northeastern Oregon, is some of the most beautiful landscape you will ever see, especially from the back of a drift boat. The campsite and cuisine are amazing, the trout are wild, and the surroundings are breathtaking.
Trips are offered in during June.
“In my humble opinion steelhead are the greatest sports fish swimming in our rivers and winter steelhead are no exception. Steelhead hit hard, fight hard, jump, run, tug and tail dance. Steelheads do it all.
I spend much of my year; winter, summer and fall in pursuit of steelhead and I enjoy every minute of it.”
